Randomization | Lean Six Sigma, Six Sigma Certification

Randomization refers to running treatments in an experiment in an order that has no specific structured layout, as opposed to the standard order. Randomization minimizes the effect of noise, lurking variables, and other uncontrollable factors-which may vary over the duration of the experiment-by distributing them across all factors. Depending on your specific process, it may be impossible to completely randomize all runs.
